Style: I love illustrative work in which I can explore the drama and emotion of a scene predominantly by using the personalities and expressions of the characters - it combines my love of figure drawing with my love of getting inside a story and really feeling out the relationships. I tend to use a very colorful palette, which gives my work a vividness well-suited to the children's literature that is my favorite subject matter.
