Influences: Major influences would definitely have to be Yoshitako Amano, Alex Ross, Gerrad Brom, Rk Post, Kev Walker, Masamune Shirow, Frank Frazetta, Todd McFarlane, and many others. Inspirations would mostly fall into either Alex Ross for his portrayal of emotion in his work. Brom for his dark moody tones that either scare you or make you smile. Yoshitako Amano for creating beautiful artwork through massive details and vibrant colors.
Style: My style is mostly dealing with pencil/pen/watercolors. I very rarely do any digital media, more of a tradional artist. I try to incorporate a lot of soft looks combined with massive ammounts of detailing. I mostly like to use a lot of heavy contrasting with B/W. when I do something in color its mostly bright vibrant colors or dark moody ones. My most often used technique is something I just refer to as "pencil brushing" which is mostly mechanical pencil work on bristol board that is heavily rubbed, outlined, rubbed again, detailed, rubbed, erased for effect. I do this over and over till I'm satisfied with the piece personaly.
